In Megalo Livadi mining activity is still visible. There stands the loading stair, which is now one of the most characteristic symbols of Serifos. After the stop of mining the wagons, the railways, and the tools have remained immovable in time. There, you will also see the Headquarters, as well as the monument of the miners, which reminds us of the bloody strike they did.
