Easter: The Easter period is celebrated with great solemnity in Skiathos. On Good Friday there is the procession of the epitaph, which begins late at night and lasts until the morning, with the scent of incense, the mournful sound of the bells and the flags at half mast.
Agios Georgios: On April 23 or the second day of Easter, Agios Georgios is celebrated by conducting horse races beside the lake.
First Friday after Easter: Feast in honor of the Zoodocho Pigi (Source of Life) at the homonymous church, under the sounds of traditional music and dancing.
26 July: Feast in honor of Agia Paraskevi, with the organization of a traditional celebration with music and lots of dancing.
15 August: Celebratins at the Monastery of Evagelistria.
7 September: In the area of the Castle a representation of the naval battle is performed, called Katsonia, since in 1943 the submarine Lambros Katsonis sank there.
