It is located in the area where the seafaring of the island flourished and keeps on flourishing. At this part of the island, the tradition in wooden fishing vessels, i.e. the wood marine architecture, has prevailed. This tradition is dated from 1823 when shipbuilders from Chios and Psara came to the island. Moreover, you will encounter old people, who will recount stories of the harbor and will show you the traditional way of the construction and repair of wooden ships. Do not forget asking to see the "sala", a wooden floor where the wooden ships are designed in their physical size.
