The area of Evangelistria except the church also houses the following six remarkable museums and exhibitions.
Exhibition Ecclesiastical Relics and Icons
An exhibition that you can see on request, in a room at the courtyard on the ground floor, including religious relics and icons from the churches of Tinos from the 14th - 19th century. There you will see the icons of Panagia Galaktoforousa and Panagia Perivlepto. Wood carvings, crosses, cherubs and micro wood carving exhibits from the Tinian artist Ioanni Platis. Dominant position has the ring dedicated to Panagia (Virgin Mary) by Theodoros Kolokotronis and 1 of the 3 original maps made by Rigas Fereos.
Sacristy
Here are exposed church utensils, crosses, cherubs, candlesticks, lamps, Gospels etc. all offerings of the believers to Panagia (Virgin Mary).
Art gallery
An important collection of authentic paintings from Tinian and non-Tinian artists. There distinguish N. Gizis, N. Lytras, K. Parthenis, G. Iakovidis etc. The exhibition also includes works from the period of Renaissance from Italy and the Ionian islands, valuables, furniture etc.
Museum of Antonios Sochos
Anthonios Sochos, a sculptor from Isternia of Tinos donated sculptures of wood, marble, clay and gypsum and the museum was created. He was famous sculptor who studied in Greece and abroad and he served as an academic of sculpture and plastic art in Athens. Significant sculptures of his are in various locations all over Greece.
Tinian Artists Museum
A museum that collects original and copies of works of Tinian Artists both of sculpture and painting. Here you will see sculptures of G. Chalepas, D. Filippoti, G. Vitali, Soho, Fytalis and others, as well as paintings of N. Gizis, Nikiforos, Nikolaos and Periklis Lytras, Roilos, Renieri and Gaitis. All Tinian art in one place!
Mausoleum of Elli
A space dedicated to the memory of the victims of the destroyer Elli, which sank on August 15th 1940, by an Italian submarine, while it was anchored in the port of Tinos. Here the bones of the victims are kept, a piece from the torpedo that hit the destroyer and objects of the boat.
