Yliki is a natural lake in Viotia, north of Thebes. Its banks are relatively steep; its average extent reaches 22 km2 and its maximum depth 20 meters. The lake of Paralimni is located near Yliki. The waters of Kifisos River and the plain of Kopaida end up there. Its shape is oblong, covering a total extent of about 15 km2, while the maximum depth is 27 meters. Many species of birds visit the lake every year. On the southwest part of the lake there is a large area with white lilies.
