After Vrontados and Pantoukios, 15km from the Lagkadian valleys, you will see the fertile plain of Kardamila, which covers the extent of the ancient Kardamili. Generations and generations of ship-owners have been raised up in the Kardamilan grounds, since stock farming and merchant marine are the main goldmines of the area. The village has two gorgeous settlements, Pano Horio or Ano Kardamila and Marmaro.
