You should definitely visit this remarkable church, located in the medieval village of Mesta. Built in 1412 as an one-aisled basilica with arches, was converted into a two-aisled basilica in 1792. Its miraculous icons and the carven chancel screen, which was completed in 1833 and depicts representations from the Old and New Testament, are very impressive. A great festival takes place on the honoring day of the Saint.
