Epos (at approximately 450m in altitude) hosts on its hill the city of Vrontados. Epos is a historical place, since the battle for the Chian liberation in 15/11/1912 and the bloody conflict with Zihni Bey took place on this mountain. In Flori, you will also the stone-built chapel of Agios Georgios with the picturesque blue windows. Last but not least, on the crest of Epos lies the Memorial of the Fallen Soldiers in the battle mentioned above.
