A well-organized, extensive, museum building that has 3 floors and extra space for hosting events. The visitors can be informed about the findings of British mostly excavations (in Emporio, Agio Gala, Fana etc.), which cover the long-lasting history of Chios from the Neolithic period to the late Roman Empire. Displays dated from the prehistoric period, specimens of architecture, pottery, sculpture (8th century BC-Roman Empire) are hosted in the Museum in a chronologically order. The third floor of the building is dedicated to Psara and the findings of Mycenaean tombs in Archontiki, under the thematic title "Psara in the antiquity». Opening Hours: Daily 8:00-15:00 except for Monday.
