Afanis Naftis (unsung sailor) beach lies 6km from Vrontados (it was named after the monument in commemoration of all sailors, which is located in the area). It’s a sandy beach with small pebbles and crystal clear waters, if there aren't any draughts of wind. You will have the opportunity to go wind-surfing, if you visit it on a windy day. Many locals prefer this beach due to its close distance from the city.
