An historical monastery closely connected with the revolution of 1821. At the entrance of the monastery there is a great plane tree, about 600 years old, where it is assumed that Paleon Patron Germanos declared the beginning of the revolution. The monastery keeps a high value treasure of relics and documents. Nearby is the National memorial for the fighters of 1821.
