On the ruins of the temple of Olympian Zeus, around 900 A.C, the temple of Pantokratoras was built. Standing above the castle at Ano Poli of Patra, like a small Agia Sophia since the construction plans are the same that were used to built the Agia Sophia temple in Istanbul.
