Mystical Kymi, homeland of the ancient witch Sivila, is one of the must-sees of Evia. Having its own port, it is a touristic attraction, especially in the summer. The city has about 10.000 residents, is full of vividness and has a great history. Lying in the middle of the blue-green colors of the Aegean Sea, it is rightfully characterized as “the balcony of the Aegean”. Kymi is a hot summer destination, where you can taste traditional delicacies, such as fried figs of Kymi and fresh fish in the ouzeries, or have a swim in the crystal clear waters. From Kymi you can also get by boat to the island of Skyros.
