Royal Jelly: The famous “bee milk”, produced by young bees and destined to be consumed only by the queen of the swarm – this is where the name comes from. Royal jelly is a mixture of pollen, honey and enzymes secreted by the bees in order to produce it. All these qualities distinguish it from foods consumed by the other bees. This is why the queen is the strongest and most productive bee, with a great longevity. However, since the ancient years royal jelly was consumed not only by the queens of the swarm, but by people as well. It is not a random fact that royal jelly was one ingredients of ambrosia, which guaranteed the "immortality" of the ancient gods. Nowadays, royal jelly is considered to be natural drug, fighting diabetes, osteoporosis, scleroderma and other serious diseases. It has also been observed that it helps fight cancer, cardiac, neurological, psychiatric, hematologic, gynecological, stomatological and ophthalmological diseases. It is used in pediatrics and has additional antibacterial and orthopedic properties.
