Since many centuries, the temple of Osios David (Saint David) is located in the mountain Ksiro, just outside Aidipsos. The temple was built there by Saint David himself, above the ruins of an old temple that was destroyed by the Turks in 1470. The monastery was destroyed again later by the Turks and was finally reconstructed in 1877. In the temple you can see Saint David’s relics, epitrachelion and censer.
