The “sugarplum beach”, Korasida is located outside Avlonari, on the southeastern side of the island. This beach is beautiful like a fairytale, with white, sugarplum shaped pebbles and transparent turquoise waters. The shore is one kilometer long and the surrounding view is the sea “hugging” the mountain. In order to enjoy the magical atmosphere you’d better visit it on weekdays and not on the weekends, because it gets really crowded then. There is also a canteen on the beach.
