Gialtra is located north of Aidipsos, on the northwestern part of Evia, and is a perfect place to have a swim. There you’ll find beaches with deep crystal waters, a rich seabed and shores with sand or fine gravel. The combination of sea, mountain and Aidipsos appearing on the opposite side is magical. You’ll swim looking at the pine trees of the mountain and collect shells from the sea bottom. You’ll have the chance to enjoy fresh fish in the taverns or meat up the mountain, in the village of Gialtra. You will also find rooms to let and cafeterias on the street, just in case you want to spend some days in the area. It’s one of the most favorite seaside areas of Evia.
