Kanatadika is consisted of Mikro and Megalo Livari, forming together a lagoon. This wetland is located in northern Evia, in Istiaia. Its extent is 1.000 acres (400 hectares) and its “residents” are many species of the flora and the fauna. The beautiful landscape is formed by reeds, water lilies, marshes, herbs, shrubs and cultivated land. As far as the fauna of the area is concerned, ducks, mute swans, otters and reptiles create a really characteristic wetland. This really special natural landscape is worth visiting.
