Nileas river, named by Nileas, son of god Poseidon, is located in northern Evia. It has its source on Mount Xiro, in Makrolivado point, in the village of Kerasia and it ends up along with Kireas, on Krya Vrysi beach of the Aegean Sea. Its waters are sometimes rapid and sometimes calm. On the shores of the river you will find small waterfalls, the canyon of Nileas, small forests, wooden bridges and a rich flora and fauna. You should visit this beautiful landscape, have a walk and take fantastic pictures of it!
