A village built at an altitude of 830 meters, overlooking Nafplio, the Saronic Gulf and the mountains of the central Peloponnese. Passing through Stefani you can make a stop at the Old Monastery of Taxiarches (11th-12th c.), the church Kimisis tis Theotokou (Assumption of Virgin Mary )(14th c.) with frescoes dating from the 1694 and the single-nave church of Agios Athanasius (16th-17th c.). The greatest interest, however, lies on Dragatouras Hill, where the observatory of Stefani has been housed since 1967.
