In the district of Metaxohori in cooperation with the cultural and country association, the Cherry Festival is organized for 23 years, which is the main agricultural product of the village. The Feast of Cherry represents spring and the fruits of the earth, on the occasion of picking cherries. Events take place in mid-June during weekends. These events advertise and promote the product and in parallel, promote the settlement with various cultural events. Cherry festival takes place at the Cultural Center of the village, the Old Parthenagogio, and gathers large number of people. These events include theatrical performances and concerts of folk music.
