The archaeological site of Milea is located in the municipality of Milea in the province of Elassona. In the nearby region there was the province of Perrevia with the cities Azoros, Dolihi and Pithion that were of vital importance. A basal temple with a triple nave and patio as well as a cemetery dating back to the post byzantine era has been discovered. Next to the southern wall of the temple there is a rectangular smaller building that consists of two parts. The first (next to the nave) is a churchyard and the second (southern nave), where a font was found, is said to be the place where baptisms took place. Those interested can come in contact with the 7th Ephorate of Byzantine Antiquities.
