The castle of Oria (paraphrase of the word Orea (=beautiful) is located above the fountain of Aphrodite in the middle of Tempi. It was used as a fortress to guard the valley against the intruders of the North. It is said that the castle, which was the citadel of the area, was impenetrable. Part of the castle has been preserved.
