The Folklore exhibition Marinos Antipas was launched in March 2007 and is located in the community of Omolio only 3 km from the highway Athens - Thessaloniki. It hosts exhibits from the rural life of local residents (agricultural and forage tools, objects of traditional occupations). The exhibition is located in the village square where there are cafes and has a meeting area 50-60 people.
The collections of the exhibition include remarkable works from all branches of modern Greek crafts:
• Agricultural tools from rural life
• Useful Household items
• Costume sets and costume accessories from many areas of Greece
• Woodcarving objects
• Embroidery and woven
• Letter cards and engravings
Those interested should definitely come in telephone contact with those responsible for the exhibition, to determine the details of the visit and to avoid delay or inconvenience.
