It is located inside the hotel Doryssa Bay but is accessible to everyone interested in it and not just the clients of the hotel. It was created after a detailed study, aiming to have all the characteristics of an old Samian village. Every house of the village is built in a specific way, in order to have elements of the traditional architecture of the old houses. If you make a walk in the narrow streets of the village you will discover the traditional coffeehouse (“kafeneio”), present in every village, many kinds of labs and the traditional bakery used by the inhabitants of the island. Of course, in the middle of the village a small church is built. There are some mansions and some poorer houses, according to their owner. You can tell which one is the house of the Mayor, the Doctor etc.
