The Museum Alexandros Papadiamantis operates at the house of the 'world monk' of Greek literature as he was called. It is one of the oldest mansions on the island with traditional architecture, in the center of Skiathos town. On the ground floor operates the exhibition space - bookstore for deeper acquaintance with the work of the author. Upstairs has maintained its original form with all unique heirlooms of Skiathos and personal belongings of the writer that reveal to the visitor information about the life of Papadiamantis, and Skiathos as he knew it.
