While strolling in the picturesque alleys of the town you can go up to the Archaeological Museum where you will find the Brooke square. A copper statue of a naked young man was built there by the sculptor Tompros in the honor of the poet. It is said that Alexandros Iolas served as a model for the sculptor. In the ceremony on the 5^th April 1931 when the statue was unveiled, the prime minister of Greece, Eleftherios Venizelos, was present. On this location, the view of Molos and Magazia is also breathtaking.
