The construction works were completed in 1886 in Vrontados. The church is known for the icons of the 18^th century and the marble chancel screen created by G. Panagiotakis. A library is also located in its facilities. The carven priedieus add to the holiness and austerity of the church, while the pebbly design of the yard supplements its decoration. Some remains of Agii Anargiri are kept within the church.
