In case you travel by a sailing boat, apart from the innumerable bays of the prefecture and of the small islands around Astakos, there are also marinas where you can supply yourselves. The most important harbors of the prefecture are those in Astakos, Mitikas, Paleros and Vonitsa. Also in Messolonghi there is a brand new marina with a soon-to-open sailing school.
