Kryoneri beach is offering its cool waters to those who visit it, with Varasova rising abruptly on its right and the Patraic Gulf appearing on the horizon. It was named after the cold waters (“Kyroneri” is “cold water” in Greek) of the spring sprouting from the rock into the sea, dropping its temperature and its salt content.
