Although they are one the most beautiful villages of the area and only 25 kilometers away from Karpenisi, Fidakia have not attracted the attention they are worth of. Built at an altitude of 950 meters up in the mountain of Chelidona, they have a view of the lake of Kremasta and are one of the three traditional settlements of Evrytania together with Koryschades and Domianous. They consist of a few well-preserved stone houses, alleys where no cars are permitted, a beautiful square with a church in the honor of the Birth of Virgin Mary and the natural environment that is full of impressive pine trees and wildflowers. The view of the lake is one of its privileges!
