Mastichari is a small village near the sea, about 3 kilometers from Antimacheia. It is also the second port of Kos. Mastichari is famous for its exotic beaches with white colored sand and it provides the opportunity to practice water sports. It is a seaside resort that offers the necessary holiday relaxation. If you get there during the first week of August you can participate in the traditional wine festival of Kos that takes place in Mastichari. You can also organize a trip to the fantastic island of Kalymnos, departing from Mastichari. A feast is held on the 29th of August, dedicated to Saint John.
