Pyli is located in about the middle of the island and seems like a place untouched by time. It a place of incomparable beauty, full of olive trees, fruits and vegetables, stone houses and springs with plenty of waters. Visit the traditional house of Pyli (Pyliotiko), which is similar to those of Antimacheia and Kefalos, the ancient vaults and the tomb of the ancient hero Charmilos. In the isolated, nowadays, old Pyli, 4 kilometers from the village, you will enjoy an amazing view to the camp and the opposite islands, Kalymnos and Pserimos. Feasts and horse races are held on St George’s day, while on the 23rd of June there is the celebration of Agios Giannis Klidonas.
