The impressive Knightly Residence is located next to Nerantzia Castle, on the seashore. It is the house of Francesco Sans, Governor of Kos. It is the only secular building saved from the era of the Knights and is dating back to 1514. Today it operates as an archaeological library and an exhibition and lecture hall of the Archaeological Service of Kos.
