Pythagoras Cave is one of the most famous caves of the island and is the cave where Pythagoras found shelter when escaped from his pursuers. According to another version, he simply used to go into the cave to find some rest and meditate. Pythagoras Cave is located at an altitude of about 320 meters. A chasm is located on the left side of the entrance and a larger chasm 10 meters after the entrance, with a small reservoir that gathers the water from the drops of the roof.
