The deep Pedi Gulf is so narrow that from most points of view it seems like a lake with no waves at all. There is a small picturesque settlement that was traditionally the vacation point of the people of Symi. It’s the only beach that is easily accessible from Chorio. The visitor has a wide variety of accommodation and food choices. At the exit of this gulf there is the small bay of St. Nikolas with the homonymous chapel. At the bay there is an organized beach. The waters are initially shallow but they deepen impressively. It’s a 15 minutes hiking from Pedi to this beach.
