From the most known spots on the island, Marathouda Bay is covered with lots of flora and has a water shaft. There is a small settlement with a restaurant and its beach is covered with white pebbles. After Marathouda and before Panormitis there is an open bay, where the pine tree forest goes all the way down to the uniquely colored crystal waters. This spot is named Faneromeni.
