Located 55km west of Chania and 17km south of Kissamos, Sirikari is definitely a good choice, if you like visiting a forest. It covers a relatively large area with towering chestnut trees, running brooks and dense vegetation of herbs and wildflowers. This is where the beautiful Sirikari Gorge starts and it ends in Polirinia village, where the homonym ancient city was built. During your perambulation, you will see two well-preserved water mills in Sineniana.
