Honey from Antimacheia: During the honey fest in Antimacheia you will have to opportunity to taste delicacies based on the local honey; “sarsoumades” with honey (fruits in syrup and fried crust), “mairia” (a local variation of moustalevria - pudding made of grape must mixed with flour and boiled until thick – with honey instead of grape must), but also feta cheese wrapped in pie crust with honey on the top.
Kanelada: A simple and tasty beverage from Nisyros. It is based on cinnamon and is very popular in Kos.
