A well-organized array, which is constantly enriched, is the one hosted in the Archaeological Museum of Sitia. It includes exhibits from the surrounding area and Zakros, covering a period of 4000 years. The plates on the well-arranged displays in the museum provide information written in five languages. One of the most significant exhibits in the museum is the chryselephantine statue, named “Kouros tou Palekastrou”, with 54cm height. It is considered to be a masterpiece of the Minoan art.
