One of the largest beaches in Crete, almost 5km long. With pebbles and mostly shallow waters, it is organized with umbrellas and deck-chairs in some sections, as well as a well maintained camping. In the eastern section of the coastline is the beach Psaropoula, which is more modern and offers some water sports. Another beach, after Psaropoula, named Villa tou Despoti (Landlord’s Villa), is also well-organized since there are some hotel establishments just above the beach. So, you will find umbrellas, showers and water sports facilities.
