The basic beach in the village is a beautiful shaded one with clear waters, sunbeds, beach bars and all the comforts to enjoy a proper Greek summer.  However, if you are in the mood for touring there are plenty of beaches to the west that may not be organized but offer natural surroundings.  We suggest Krios, only 10 kilometers west of Paleohora, which is a long, pebbly beach.  It is a good choice since the beach is divided into three parts covering all tastes.  The first section does not have any infrastructure, in the middle of the beach there is a beach bar where sunbeds are offered and finally the third section is preferred by nudists. The waters in all three parts are cool and clear. Natural shade is offered by the few caves on the beach.
