Along the road from Sami to Fiskardo, Myrtos and Assos, one pleasant stop is sure to delay your journey. The village of Agia Efthimia is one of the most picturesque traditional villages, and is ideal for a long relaxing swim in the beautiful turquoise bays, a lunch of fresh fish from seaside restaurants, and the harbor promenade with mountain views to the left and the blue sea to the right. If you pass through the area in evening hours, stop for a souvlaki, or a sweet Kefalonian dessert aside illuminated yachts and exotic palm trees.
