An elegant alternative for a meal at the old Venetian harbor is Salis. The restaurant's name comes from the historical figure of the black boatman of Chania who lived in the city in the early 20th century.
In the restaurant you will experience an innovative approach to the traditional Cretan cuisine. Kritharoto with apaki, tagliatelle with Cretan pesto, fish roe salad with botargo, vegetarian lasagne with truffle of Cretan origin. The ingredients are entirely derived from local producers while many fresh vegetables come straight from the restaurant’s privately owned garden. The wine list is extensive and consists mainly of labels of renowned Greek producers.
Unique tasteful combinations, local fresh ingredients, quality wine, discreet service and seductive views, all make the ideal conditions for a wonderful dining experience!
