It was raided many times during the centuries and in the 13th century A.C the decay started. Nowadays, only a few parts of the city remain. Parts of the wall have been dug up and now you can see the 4-sided towers that date back to the roman-paleochristian period. Moreover, a large temple, probably the diocese of the city, has been found.
