You will find Eski Tzami near Imaret. Although it was built after Geni Tzami, its name can be translated into “Old Mosque”. It was constructed by Gazi Ahmet Evrenos. Eski Tzami belongs to a group of buildings and its construction dates back to 1608/9 or 1677/8. During the invasion of the Bulgarians in 1910 it was turned into a church. Later on, it was given back to the Muslims and was restored to its initial operation.
