This ancient settlement is 11km from Pahia Ammos and is an ideal destination, since it is famous for its tranquility and quietness. It is recommended to those who want to experience the wild beauty of the southern part of the island. With a more equable climate than that of the rest of the island and beneficial waters, this is the only area of Samothrace, where orange, lemon and mandarin trees are flourishing and which used to purvey these products to the whole island in the past.
