A lush island, the largest of the Corinthian Gulf and the only habitable one, it is an ideal destination for nature lovers and folks who find themselves at odds with technology, as the island allows neither cars or motorbikes. For residents and visitors, there is a caique that leaves from the village Chania opposite, and reaches Trizonia in about 5 minutes. The island, although it is known destination for luxury yachts,  preserves for all its guests a sense of serenity, and offers pristine beaches just a few kilometers from major cities like Nafpaktos, Mesologgi and Amfissa. Among the sights of the island is a Venetian castle, the  icing on the cake in this beautiful locale.
